Best Western Chelmsford Inn is a pleasant site to get some rest, and a picturesque lake like Beaver Brook Reservoir is a brilliant place to take a look at. The good people of Boston-Cambridge-Quincy like to hang out nearby, and       a magnificent close by hotel is Courtyard Boston Lowell/Chelmsford. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Assabet River offers some great whitewater, and Lower Pawtucket Canal Reservoir is a glorious lake nearby. Drift down the rapids of Concord River in a kayak, and Bradford is a magnificent local ski area. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Concord River Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
