So many entertaining things to do at Comins Pond, so little time. Quaboag River is a pleasant whitewater spot next to Comins Pond, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Scottish Meadow Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Bare Knoll can be made out from Comins Pond; if you need a site to stay Quality Inn Sturbridge is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here       at Comins Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Old Saw Mill Camp Ground is a tremendous place for that, and some of the water close by flows, like Cheney Brook. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Comins Pond has to offer, you can camp at High View Campgrounds, and not far from Comins Pond you'll hit upon Wickaboag Pond which is a gorgeous lake. Comins Pond is a rather wet place generally with a good deal of precipitation; all through                  August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Through the long summer days at Comins Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Comins Pond temperatures fall to the 10's. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Brookhaven Lake, and Comins Pond Dam is beautiful.
