Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Royal Crest Country Club, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Stetson Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Charles River       offers some magnificent whitewater, and if you've had enough of Cobbs Pond, Memorial Pond is nearby. You'll meet a lot of people from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Sharon. All the outdoors entertaining stuff close to Cobbs Pond will keep you coming back many times. Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a very fine site to stop at near Cobbs Pond; the snow is wonderful at Blue Hills. This lake is so wonderful.                  Stay the night at Canoe River Campground. The high level of rainfall makes Cobbs Pond a quite wet spot; most of the rain falls through November; June is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at Cobbs Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 30's while Cobbs Pond nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.
