The peak of Birch Hill can be made out from Cobble Mountain Reservoir, and naturally Birch Meadow Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit. Summertime highs at Cobble Mountain Reservoir ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's.
