Beautiful Clay Pond has much to offer visitors. Clay Pond frequently gets a lot of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain while July is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a great swamp; Sesuit Creek Marshes is right here at Clay Pond, and a splendid panorama of picturesque Black Ball Hill is available.

location, and since you're here, you could stop at Sesuit Creek. While you're here at Clay Pond you can take a hike along the Buttonbush Trail, and why not explore Sesuit Harbor if you're here. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Clay
Pond. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's while Clay Pond night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's.

Here at Clay Pond you'll perhaps meet some people from Barnstable Town; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Red Maple Swamp Trail.
