This lake is so wonderful. Take a side trip to Back River, and you can stay the night at Tuxbury Pond Camping Area. You could also check out Artichoke River Reservoir since you're here at Clarks Pond;
it's close by, and Black Bear Campground is a great campground nearby. Clarks Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while January is usually the driest month.
