You can run the rapids of Konkapot Brook in the vicinity of Clapp Pond, and if you came to camp Maple Glade Campground is a pleasant spot to do that. Westfield River - West Branch is a brilliant whitewater spot close to Clapp Pond, and Bass Ridge Country Club is a golf course nearby. Summertime at Clapp Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. lake like Sandwash Reservoir is a great place to stop by. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Lee/Berkshires/Outlet Area is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Clapp Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Bissellville
Campground is a delightful site for that. So much exciting stuff to do at Clapp Pond, so little time. Head up to Bousquet and strap some skis to your feet; October Mountain State Forest is worth stopping at. This location is excellent,
just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do next to Clapp Pond. On a great day at Clapp Pond you can take a hike along the Turner Trail, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Wild Cat Trail. This lake
is so wonderful. Mud Pond is a wonderful lake next to Clapp Pond, and if you're visiting from Pittsfield, you won't be the only one.
