a lake around here. This lake is so wonderful. October Mountain State Forest is a great local forest, and the wonderful people of Pittsfield like to hang out nearby. The high level of rain makes Clapp Pond a reasonably wet location;
June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. The Turner Trail offers hiking at its best; a wonderful spot to camp here at Clapp Pond is Maple Glade Campground. If you need a place to stay
Lee Super 8 Motel is a magnificent choice, and what would winter be without some skiing at Bousquet. Dry warm beds await you at Pittsfield Travelodge, and Bass Ridge Country Club is a wonderful golf course close by. This lake
is so wonderful. Clapp Pond is right by the Brickhouse Mountain Trail, and you're most likely hooked on lakes, Mud Pond is one of those nearby.
