City Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Take a side trip to Lynde Brook, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Worcester. The panoramas at Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor will blow your mind, and Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Worcester Auburn is a great spot to get some rest. You get a delightful panorama of Carey Hill from City Pond; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby

| | Pine Ridge. You'll need more than a day to look at everything City Pond has to offer, you can camp at The Woodlot Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Auburn. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff near City Pond. There's pleasant hiking along the Munyan Trail; the Border Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. getting warmed up. City Pond is right by the Ross Trail, and City Pond is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Wood Lot Campground is a perfect place to camp nearby. At City Pond all through the warm months highs are
in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's while City Pond overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Why not have a look at Waite Pond
Dam if you're here, and Wachusett Mountain is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. City Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls throughout May; February on the other hand is the driest.
