City Pond is a nice lake to visit. Waite Pond Dam is worth visiting while you're here, and skiing at Wachusett Mountain is one of those things you just should do. This lake is so wonderful. It's a glorious idea to pop by Lynde Brook, it's next to City Pond; Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a very brilliant place to take a look at. Summer at City Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
