This lake is so wonderful. Here at City Pond you'll probably meet some folks from Worcester; the Munyan Trail is a good hiking trail close by. the 70's to City Pond, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for City Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight
stay Wood Lot Campground is a glorious location to camp, and swamps are exciting places and Great Cedar Swamp near City Pond is no exception. There's always Waite Pond Dam to visit close to City Pond; going for a hike on the Ross
Trail is always a good adventure. Why not check out nearby Lynde Brook if you're here at City Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Worcester Auburn.
Near City Pond you stumble on the Border Trail which is
a great hiking trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? Wachusett Mountain is a great site to do that. What would winter be without some skiing at Pine Ridge, and The Woodlot Campground is a great local campground.
