The beauty of City Pond is reason enough to stop by. The warmest time of the year at City Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the night is fairly colder of course, usually in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for City Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Deerfield River, and the Richard Trail offers hiking at its best. | | Pond. If you're here at City Pond and you like golf, you can stop at Edge Hill Golf Course, and City Pond is not far at all from Springfield. Hiking is a popular thing to do around City Pond; Link Trail is a pleasant local trail, and a short visit to Chapel Falls is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Swift River offers some great whitewater, and unsurprisingly Chapel Brook flows through this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at City Pond that you need to camp here for a while, White Birch Campgrounds
is a wonderful place for that; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Berkshire East is rather near. Be careful coming to City Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. Oxbow Resort Motel is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and
the skiing at Blandford is magnificent. A swamp like Keyes Swamp in close proximity to City Pond has lots of out of the ordinary things to see, and after a long day outdoors Rainbow Motel is a nice site to spend a night or two.
Stay the night at Springbrook Family Camping Area, and the summit of Abbott Hill can be observed from City Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes City Pond a wet place; November is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
