     Going for a hike on the Busby Trail is always a nice adventure, and Mauserts Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. This lake is so wonderful. A cool spot to go to right next door to Choquettes Pond is Natural Bridge of New England, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Dunbar Brook. The amount of precipitation that falls at Choquettes Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest month of the  
   year is February. Do check out Mauserts Pond South Dam if you're here at Choquettes Pond, and there are delightful sites to discover along the Old Stage Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Red Mill Brook Campground, and Mount Greylock Ski Club is a very popular ski area nearby. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Choquettes Pond reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter comes
 
               with highs in the 20's while Choquettes Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. While you're here at Choquettes Pond you will meet lots of people from close by Bennington, and don't leave Choquettes Pond without first going for a hike along the Dunbar Brook Trail.
Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Choquettes Pond is unbeatable! There's whitewater on Deerfield River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and a great nearby hotel is The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA. A splendid location to camp here at Choquettes Pond is Clarksburg State Park, and since you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Stamford Valley Golf Course.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Berkshire East, and a lake close by is North Branch Hoosic River Reservoir.
