Why not take a refreshing hike along the Ross Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Cedar Swamp Brook. A round of golf at nearby Blissful Meadows Golf Club is a pleasant way to kill some time, and dry warm beds await you at Quaker Inn & Conference Center. All through the days of summer at Chockalog Pond highs are mostly in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with       highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Chockalog Pond through the winter frequently fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Cedar Swamp is a swamp near Chockalog Pond; during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Worcester for sure. If you go for the outdoors, you'll fancy Chockalog Pond. Take a hike on the Walkabout Trail, and one of the best things about this spot is its proximity to YWCA Beach. This is no site for people who don’t like                  to enjoy themselves. You can take a little trip to Lee Reservoir Dam if you're here at Chockalog Pond, and float down the rapids of Clear and Branch in a kayak. This is a pleasant region for folks who like lakes. Aldrich Pond is a lake nearby; Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a perfect national park. Chockalog Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Why not camp at Winding Brook Camping Area if you're here at Chockalog Pond, and Chockalog Pond is right by the Munyan Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Blythe Island Regional Park Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Quinebaug River offers some splendid whitewater.
