Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Chimney Corners Pond. Take a hike on the Spring Trail, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Blandford. This lake is so wonderful. Chimney Corners Pond is right by the Wild Cat Trail; good skiing awaits you at Otis Ridge. This lake is so wonderful.       Hamilton Brook flows through this area, and the top of Benton Hill is easily made out from Chimney Corners Pond. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Chimney Corners Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Mountain View Campground is a perfect spot to camp, and get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Farmington River - West Branch. Camping is available at Bonny Rigg Camping Club, and not far from here you can enjoy the                  trees of Great Barrington State Forest. Chimney Corners Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and January is when it's the driest. Throughout the warm months at Chimney Corners Pond highs are generally in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Chimney Corners Pond. This is a nice area for folks who like lakes. Little Robin Lake is a lake in close proximity; if you need a location to stay Pilgrim Inn is a good choice. Chimney Corners Pond Dam is a striking place right next door to Chimney Corners Pond; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Westfield River - West Branch.
