Granger Brook is a stream that you may run into while here; if you need a place to stay The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA is a fine choice. And that's not all you can do here at Chilson Pond. There's so much to do here at Chilson Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Pines Campground is a good location for that, and there are plenty of people from Bennington here at Chilson Pond. For you golfers we recommend nearby Stamford Valley Golf Course; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Berkshires, Ma. Pond you can observe Bakke Mountain. No need to travel far to stop by out of the ordinary stuff like Hoosac Range; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Berkshire East.
This lake is so wonderful. A lake close
by is Tannery Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Chilson Pond has to offer, you can camp at Clarksburg State Park. The yearly precipitation here at Chilson Pond is about average; August is the wettest month with
most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Deerfield River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Stage Trail.
Mount Greylock Ski Club has great slopes and a friendly
staff, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Chilson Pond; Busby Trail is a great local trail. For the period of the long summer days, highs generally are in the 70's at Chilson Pond. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's.
Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 20's; nighttime lows at Chilson Pond through the winter typically descend into the 10's.
