    Beautiful Chilson Pond has much to offer visitors. High temperatures at Chilson Pond during the summer months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Chilson Pond fall into the 10's. Any time is a fine time at Chilson Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. Berkshire East is a very popular  
   ski area in the neighborhood, and it's a magnificent idea to explore Granger Brook. The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA is a glorious place to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is fine on Dunbar Brook.
Bog Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and camping at Clarksburg State Park is always a fine experience. People from Bennington love to come to Chilson Pond. Chilson Pond gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; August is the month
 
               that gets the most rain while February is mostly the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. A great site to camp here at Chilson Pond is Shady Pines Campground; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Dunbar Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Busby Trail, and since you're here why not take a look at Moores Summit. Head up to Mount Greylock Ski Club and strap some skis to your feet, and if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Berkshires, Ma is a perfect choice.
Paddling on Deerfield River is so much fun, and some out of the ordinary geology is available here, Hoosac Range is right here. Do go to North Pond near Chilson Pond, it's a beautiful lake; on a pretty day you acquire a great vista of Bakke Mountain from Chilson Pond. This place is peerless, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in close proximity to Chilson Pond. An afternoon playing golf at Stamford Valley Golf Course is always a delight, and going for a hike along the Old Stage Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.

... the whitingham area, it is very quickly loosing its natural appearance (not to mention killing the fish and environment) we should stop building around the world, this is one contribution to global warming and obviously the fact that we will eventually outgrow our environment. I suggest rebuilding ontop of old houses if you have the money to build a new house at all otherwise, renovate.I also wish to somehow reduce population which is nearly impossible to do all over the world, china has a good system for that (though a little strict its neccessary you only need two at the most anyway more than that is just rediculous) in building, we need roads, well when it rains the roads and the houses prevent the acidic rain from penetrating and filtering throughout the peat and other minerals in the ground. This filtration helps maintain proper ph (affects fish immensely) and filter sediment out (which hinders the gills of fish)not to mention aids in producing topsoil. so the acid rain is now draining in ditches and along the road into ... sadawga, harriman res., and any other local streams wh...
