This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Davis Pond since you're here at Chilmark Pond; it's nearby, and don't forget to stop by Allen Point while you're here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Chilmark Pond a wet location; during the month of December you get the most rain around here,       and July on the other hand is the driest. A tour to Lucy Vincent Beach close to Chilmark Pond is always a splendid idea, and the peak of Abel Hill can be distinguished from Chilmark Pond. It's a good idea to take a look at Fulling Mill Brook, it's in the neighborhood of Chilmark Pond. There's so much to do here at Chilmark Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Martha's Vineyard Family Campground is a pleasant site for that.
