Stay the night at Windy Acres Campground. This lake is
so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Orchards Golf Course Superintendant is a good way to kill some time, and delightful hiking is available along the County Road Trail. Summertime highs at Chicopee River Reservoir typically tend
to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Chicopee River Reservoir tend to be in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. Chicopee
MA Days Inn is a wonderful location to get some rest; Connecticut River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by.
