Not far from Chicopee River Reservoir you obtain some wonderful water scenery at Dwight Dam; nearby you find the County Road Trail which is a nice hiking trail. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Connecticut River; not far from Chicopee River Reservoir you'll come across Bemis Pond Lower Reservoir which is a wonderful lake. for you then we recommend Farmington River, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites. Lakes are fine; Bemis Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Chicopee River Reservoir, and some of the water close by flows, like
Abbey Brook. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Chicopee River Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Windy Acres Campground is a perfect location for that, and there is a good hiking trail close
by called the Richard Trail. Chicopee River Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January. Summertime highs at

 | 19 miles away Im here everyday besides wensday. on wensday they give uss off. don and ann are very nice people with a very nice store and very nice overpriced things inside there very nice store. soon they will mater building the roads and hopefuly next spring will be a very nice one. they have very clean and large sites and never are all the sites full so dont let them tell you there booked. if your looking for a nice peaceful time come durring the normal weekends but if your looking for lots of action well come on the major weekends. if your have any teens bring them because there are lots of very nice children in a drug-free enviroment. we have been her since the begining of time and for some reason where still here! the speed limits 5mph but I drive at around 12mph shhh.... |
