Don't leave Chicopee River Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Richard Trail, and a glorious close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites. For the period of the months of summer here at Chicopee River Reservoir, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights       at Chicopee River Reservoir are in the 0's. The high level of precipitation makes Chicopee River Reservoir a quite wet spot; most of the rain falls throughout May, and January on the other hand is the driest. Good hiking is available along the County Road Trail. So much fun stuff to do here at Chicopee River Reservoir, too pleasant to be true. There's so much to do here at Chicopee River Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Windy Acres Campground                  is a wonderful spot for that; some of the water close by flows, like Abbey Brook. Chicopee River Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Sodom Mountain Campground is a tremendous local campground, and you're sure to bump into some cheerful people from Springfield here. A lake close by is Bemis Pond Lower Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Chicopee MA Days Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two. Chicopee River Reservoir is in the neighborhood of Dwight Dam which is a delightful site definitely worth checking out, and paddling on Farmington River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Link Trail, and Bemis Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at.
