Chestnut Hill Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Blue Hills is one of those things you just have to do; Camp Micah is a good campground nearby. What a site this is for outdoors folks. If you need a place to stay Boston-Days Inn is a perfect choice; for you golfers we recommend nearby Brookline Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Charles River is so much fun, and Camp Cedar is a tremendous local campground.

Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is relatively next to Chestnut Hill Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Terrace Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. Through the long summer days at Chestnut Hill Reservoir temperatures are usually in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. and August is when it's the driest. Chestnut Hill Reservoir beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Bradford. A lake nearby is Single Tree Hill Reservoir, and Aspinwall
Hill is simple to spot from Chestnut Hill Reservoir. Hammonds Pond Swamp is a swamp close to Chestnut Hill Reservoir, unsurprisingly you could also check out Fisher Hill Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all.
