Charles River Reservoir
is in the neighborhood of Newton Lower Falls Dam which is a picturesque place beyond doubt worth stopping at, and some of the water close by flows, like Hurd Brook. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling
on Charles River. For the period of the summer months here at Charles River Reservoir, high temperatures generally reach the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in
the 30's with temperatures at Charles River Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
