If you are traveling by, why not stop by Chapin Pond. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Chapin Pond has it all. Lakes are great; Horse Pond is a lake that's next to Chapin Pond. The snow is delightful at Blandford, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Richard Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Bush Notch if you're here at Chapin Pond, and not far from Chapin Pond you acquire some magnificent

Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Buck Pond, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WESTFIELD is a nice site to spend a night or two. at Sodom Mountain Campground, and naturally Barry Brook is a pretty stream that is worth a visit. Paddling on Little River is so much fun, and the County Road Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. Camping at Windy Acres Campground
is always a tremendous experience, and golf can be played at East Mountain Country Club. Going for a hike along the Link Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Econo Lodge Westfield is a fine place
to get some rest. Chapin Pond regularly gets a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls during May; January is the month with the least moisture.
