You don’t have to go far from Chaffin Pond to observe the water at Chaffin Pond Dam; for you golfers we recommend close by Green Hill Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. A day at Sterling Town Beach close to Chaffin Pond is time well spent; there are tremendous places to discover along the Munyan Trail. One of the dominant       marks of the surroundings of Chaffin Pond is Davis Hill, and after a long day outdoors Courtyard Worcester is a fine spot to spend a night or two. Chaffin Pond is a wet site that gets much precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout May, and the driest of the months is February. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are really plentiful here at Chaffin Pond. Why not camp at Wood Lot Campground while you're here at Chaffin Pond, and fine skiing awaits you                  at Pine Ridge. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Bryant Pond, and needless to say, this is a great area for folks who like lakes, Norcross Pond Number Three is a lake in close proximity. A great close by hotel is La Residence, and skiing at Wachusett Mountain is one of those things you just should do. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Worcester come to Chaffin Pond; if you came for an overnight stay Pout and Trout Family Campground is a tremendous spot to camp. You absolutely should have a thing about Chaffin Pond. During the summer highs here at Chaffin Pond get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's.
