Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a very great site to visit near Chadwick Pond, and there       are some pleasant whitewater spots on Concord River. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Haverhill is a perfect choice, and Little River is in the neighborhood of Chadwick Pond and is always a diversion to stop by. Golf can be played at Bradford Country Club, and if you've had enough of Chadwick Pond, Hoveys Pond is close by. Chadwick Pond gets a normal amount of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and February                  is when it's the driest. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are regularly in the 30's while Chadwick Pond night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
