The beauty of Center Pond is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. There are wonderful places to discover along the Richard Trail; a wonderful lake like Excalibur Lake is a perfect place to stop by. At Center Pond all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Center Pond are in the 10's. Any time is a glorious

Camping at Bonny Rigg Camping Club is always a fine experience, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Blandford. This location rules, just explore all the exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Center Pond. Camping is available at Summit Hill Campground, and if the weather is delightful, you obtain a delightful panorama of Benton Hill from Center Pond. This lake is so wonderful. and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Westfield River - West Branch.
Depot Brook is in the vicinity of Center Pond and is always a joy to go to; Center Pond Dam is a beautiful location,
certainly worth visiting. After a long day outdoors Pilgrim Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two; there's whitewater on Farmington River - West Branch for all you adrenaline people. Going for a hike on the Wild Cat Trail is
always a great adventure, and a good close by hotel is Lee Super 8 Motel.
Near Center Pond you locate the Spring Trail which is a great hiking trail; if you're dropping by from Pittsfield, you won't be the only one. The high level
of precipitation makes Center Pond a relatively wet place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while January is usually the driest month.
