At Center Pond all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Center Pond throughout the wintertime frequently sink into the 10's. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do in the neighborhood of Center Pond. A lake close by is Chimney Corners Pond. Center Pond Dam is pretty       and it's in the neighborhood of Center Pond, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Otis Ridge. If you need a location to stay Pilgrim Inn is a magnificent choice, and the slopes of Blandford are so inviting noone can resist. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great earth it would be. There's wonderful hiking along the Richard Trail; on a lovely day you get a nice view of Benton Hill from Center Pond. Whitewater paddling                  is great on Farmington River - West Branch, and you can go for a hike on the Spring Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Center Pond you will meet lots of folks from nearby Pittsfield, and a quick tour to Depot Brook is positively a great idea. Don't leave Center Pond without first going for a hike along the Wild Cat Trail, and Bonny Rigg Camping Club is a wonderful campground nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Lee Super 8 Motel, and you can stay the night at Summit Hill Campground. Center Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
