If you are in this part of Massachusetts make sure to pay a visit to Cedar Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quaboag River; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Breakneck Brook. Just can't get enough of Cedar Pond. A trip to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is recommended, and after a long day outdoors Sturbridge Host Hotel & Conference

| | Center on Cedar Lake is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. You have to absolutely stop by pretty Woodstock Town Beach since you're here at Cedar Pond; Cedar Pond is not the only site nearby, Fish Pond is a nearby lake. So much entertaining stuff to do at Cedar Pond, so little time. Whitewater paddling is great on Natchaug River, and you're sure to come across some great folks from Willimantic here. experience, and close to Cedar Pond you come across a golf course called Hemlock Ridge Golf Course. For the duration of the months of summer here at Cedar Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and the night is a bit
chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cedar Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Cedar Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Yogi
Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park is a fine local campground; if you get bored of Cedar Pond you could also visit nearby Quinebaug River Reservoir. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cedar Pond a wet location; most of the
rain falls through November, and February is when it's the driest. Not far from Cedar Pond you get some good water scenery at Cedar Pond Dam; if you need a location to stay Sturbridge Super 8 Motel is a glorious choice. Head up to Pine Ridge and strap some skis to your feet; at Cedar Pond you can make out Shepard Hill.
