Any time is a glorious time at Cedar Pond if you love the outdoors. Sturbridge Host Hotel & Conference Center on Cedar Lake is a great spot to get some rest; get yourself into a kayak and hit Natchaug River. Why not camp at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park while you're here at Cedar Pond, and if you get bored of Cedar Pond you       could also check out close by Fish Pond. Cedar Pond is not far at all from Willimantic, and if you came for an overnight stay Outdoor world Campground is a glorious site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a brilliant national park, and the scenery at Cedar Pond Dam is gorgeous. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Cedar Pond. Breakneck Brook is a magnificent place to take a look                  at, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Sturbridge is a good site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Quaboag River; Shepard Hill is gorgeous and can be distinguished from here. A day at striking Woodstock Town Beach right next door to Cedar Pond is a great thing to do, and golf can be played at Hemlock Ridge Golf Course. Through the summer highs here at Cedar Pond get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's while Cedar Pond overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
