What would winter be without some skiing at Blue Hills, and dry warm beds await you at Sheraton Ferncroft Hotel. This lake is so wonderful. Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a very good place to pop by next to Cedar Pond, and if you're going to       from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy, you won't be the only one. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area close to Cedar Pond has to offer. An afternoon playing golf at Far Corner Golf Course is always a delight; there's some exciting stuff to catch a glimpse of at Towne Pond Dam close to Cedar Pond. At Cedar Pond all through the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. During the winter this                  place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cedar Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn North Shore is a great choice; Baldpate Hill is clearly visible from Cedar Pond. The slopes of Bradford are so inviting nobody can resist. The trees of Boxford State Forest are a perfect source of shade on hot summer days, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Concord River. A striking lake like Spofford Pond in close proximity to Cedar Pond is a brilliant location to explore; you can stay the night at Powow Cove Campground.
