Go to Cedar Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. You'll locate a delightful lake called Gould Pond near Cedar Pond; enjoy a round of golf at Captain's Golf Course the. The high level of rain makes Cedar Pond a relatively wet place; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Near Cedar Pond you hit upon the Red Maple Swamp Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and there are swamps here too, Boat Meadow Bog is in the neighborhood. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great earth it would be. Camping at Atlantic Oaks RV Park is always a great experience, and going for a hike on the Fort Hill Trail is always a good adventure. Man, is there
a lot of entertaining things to do close to Cedar Pond. If time allows, Cape Cod National Seashore is a national park worth checking out, and a visit to Rock Harbor Beach is always a fine idea.
Olde Tavern Motel and Inn is a good
location to get some rest, and there are pleasant locations to look at along the Buttonbush Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Orleans, and Boat Meadow River is one of the streams nearby that might
be worth visiting. Throughout the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Cedar Pond. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Cedar Pond tend to be in the 20's.
