Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Assabet River, and Edwards Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Wachusett Country Club is always a bliss, and while you're here at Carrolls Pond it's a great idea to check out Pleasant Valley. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Mass Health & Fitness since you're here at Carrolls Pond, and a perfect close by hotel is La Residence. Take a side visit

| | to Gates Brook, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a delightful place to spend a night or two.
You get a fine sight of Malden Hill from Carrolls Pond, and if you get bored of Carrolls Pond you could also visit nearby Lily Ponds. Through the days of summer highs here at Carrolls Pond reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Carrolls Pond overnight low temperatures | |
