Many people like to go to Carrolls Pond. The skiing at Pine Ridge is fine, and Gates Cove is nearby and always good to stop at. Don't forget to take a good little spree to Gates Brook, and why not camp at Lake Shirley Beach and Campgrounds while you're here at Carrolls Pond. Time spent at Sterling Town Beach near Carrolls Pond is always wonderful, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Wachusett Mountain is quite near.

A pleasant place to camp here at Carrolls Pond is Wood Lot Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Wachusett Country Club is a golf course next to Carrolls Pond, and Edwards Pond is a pleasant lake close by.
