Hiking is a popular thing to do around Card Pond; Brickhouse Mountain Trail is a brilliant local trail, and Card Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Fox Hill Camping Area is a good place to camp nearby. Enjoy a round of golf at Cranwell Resort & Golf Club not far from Card Pond, and what would winter be without some skiing at Ski Butternut. Not far from Card Pond you acquire some delightful water scenery at Card Pond Dam; get your heart pumping

The annual rainfall here at Card Pond is about average; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. check out Shaker Mill Pond near Card Pond, and you can go for a hike on the Wild Cat Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Cone Hill is clearly visible from Card Pond, and Woodland Hills Campground is a good local campground. At Card
Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Card Pond nighttime low temperatures
through the winter are in the 10's. Good hiking is available along the Taconic Skyline Trail, and you'll find a stunning lake called Mud Ponds. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Card Pond. You can run the rapids of
Bash Bish Brook in the neighborhood of Card Pond, and Cone Brook is right next door to Card Pond and is always a bliss to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay A B&B in the Berkshires is a fine choice, and the slopes of Bousquet are so inviting noone can resist.
