Campus Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are truly bountiful here at Campus Pond. The top of Pulpit Hill is easily seen from Campus Pond, and camping is available at Rainbow Motel. Lakes? Sure, Factory Hollow Pond is in the vicinity, and an afternoon playing golf at Amherst Golf Club is always a joy. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Courtyard Hadley Amherst is a delightful spot to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay White Birch Campgrounds is a great place to camp. Campus Pond regularly gets a good deal of rain; June is when you get the most rain here while February is generally the driest month. At Campus Pond during the months of summer highs are in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's.
The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Campus Pond plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is THE LORD JEFFERY INN;

Millers River - Lower has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and swamps like Hawley Swamp are fun to pop by.
