Ridder Golf Course is a tremendous golf course nearby; Great Cedar Swamp is a swamp in the neighborhood of Burrage Pond. During the days of summer at Burrage Pond highs are commonly in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Burrage Pond tend to be in the 10's. If you need a place       to stay Park View Inn is a wonderful choice; Stump Brook is near Burrage Pond and is always a joy to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are delightful places to stop by, and Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is no exception. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. At Burrage Pond you can see Bonney Hill; the scenery at Burrage Pond Lower Reservoir Dike B is lovely. Cohasset Tidal Rip has a good whitewater paddling                  spot close by. Lakes are splendid; Burrage Pond - Lower Reservoir is a lake that's next to Burrage Pond. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Blue Hills since you're here; Burrage Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Plymouth Rock Koa Kampground is a tremendous local campground. All the water falling down from the sky makes Burrage Pond a wet place; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Rockland.
