This lake is so wonderful. A splendid place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Burnt Millpond is Contoocook River, and Academy Hill is clearly visible from Burnt Millpond. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Souhegan River; the slopes of Wachusett Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. some skiing at Pine Ridge, and nearby you discover the Harling Trail which is a delightful hiking trail.
The high level of rainfall makes Burnt Millpond a rather wet spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain,
and the driest of the months is February. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Burnt Millpond. Stay the night at Howe's Camping, and swamps like Cedar Swamp close to Burnt Millpond make for great places
to pop by. The warmest time of the year at Burnt Millpond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and through the dark hours in
the winter at Burnt Millpond temperatures dip to the 0's.
Burnt Millpond is a good spot to camp, Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds is a good spot, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Mitchell Hill Road. You
truly have to adore Burnt Millpond. This is a pleasant neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Greenwood Pond is a lake in the vicinity.
