There are fine places to look at along the Dunbar Brook Trail, and not far from Burnett Pond you'll discover Bog Pond which is a charming lake. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Dunbar Brook; if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn BERKSHIRES is a brilliant choice. Burnett Pond truly is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. From a rainfall point of view Burnett Pond is a quite typical place; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. Swamps like Tyler Pond are fun to stop at. wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Forest Park Country Club, and The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA is a great place to get some rest. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff
the area near Burnett Pond has to offer. A wooded vicinity in the neighborhood of Burnett Pond is Savoy Mountain State Forest, and Shady Pines Campground is a glorious local campground. Clarksburg State Park is a pleasant campground
nearby, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cold River. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Thunderbolt Ski Trail, and the summit of Borden Mountain can be made out from Burnett
Pond. High temperatures at Burnett Pond all through the summer are in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Burnett Pond drop into the 10's.
