If you are in Berkshire county it's always a good idea to stop by Burnett Pond. Hiking along the Dunbar Brook Trail is wonderful fun, and near Burnett Pond you hit upon a golf course called Forest Park Country Club. At Burnett Pond during the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. | | delightful whitewater spots on Dunbar Brook; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Berkshire East is reasonably near.
This lake is so wonderful. Tyler Pond is an exciting swamp close to Burnett Pond; if you come at the right time of year, Cold River offers some magnificent whitewater. The amount of rain that falls at Burnett Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls through August, and February is when it's the driest.

Ski Club is a great local ski area, and the trees of Savoy Mountain State Forest are a brilliant source of shade on hot summer days. All the outdoors exciting stuff near Burnett Pond will keep you coming back time and again. Going
for a hike along the Thunderbolt Ski Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; if the weather is wonderful, you get a splendid view of Borden Mountain from Burnett Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Clarksburg
State Park is a nice location to camp, and there's always Burnett Pond to stop by near Burnett Pond.
Why not camp at Shady Pines Campground if you're here at Burnett Pond; dry warm beds await you at Dug Out Motel. This lake is
so wonderful. Take a hike on the Busby Trail, and after a long day outdoors Whitcomb Summit Motel Resort is a fine spot to spend a night or two. Having a wonderful time at Burnett Pond is easy. If you're stopping by Burnett Pond from
Pittsfield, you won't be the only one, of course you could also pop by Bog Pond while you're here; it's not far at all.
