Buffum Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Gordon Dam is striking and it's in close proximity to Buffum Pond. The high level of precipitation makes Buffum Pond a reasonably wet site; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Pakachoag Golf Course is a great way to kill some time, and perfect skiing awaits you at Pine Ridge.

| | Walkabout Trail is tremendous fun, and get dripping wet paddling on Clear and Branch. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Auburn is a wonderful choice, and Carp Hill is charming and can be made out from here. There are plenty of folks from Worcester here at Buffum Pond, and some close by water includes Little River.

down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Buffum Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Stay the night at Webster Koa Family Kampground, and there are swamps
here too, Cedar Swamp is around here. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Buffum Pond. Buffum Pond is a wonderful site to camp, Wood Lot Campground is a wonderful site; the Border Trail offers
hiking at its best.
This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Wachusett Mountain, and going to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is just something you need to do if
you haven't yet. Be careful coming to Buffum Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Buffum Pond is right by the Munyan Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Quinebaug River. While you're here at Buffum Pond, you could
also stop at beautiful Augutleback Pond; dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Worcester Auburn.
