Stevens Pond Dam has fine water scenery and it's in close proximity to Lake Buel, and drift down the rapids of Housatonic River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GREAT BARRINGTON is a great choice, and what would winter be without some skiing at Ski Butternut. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lake Buel. There is a good hiking trail in close proximity to Lake Buel called the

| | Elbow Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Bousquet if you're here. Near Lake Buel you hit upon Guilder Hollow which is a great location to pop by, and a tremendous vista of lovely Livermore Peak is available. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Camp Half Moon is a great place to camp, and you're sure to come across some smiling people from Pittsfield here. are commonly in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Buel temperatures drop to the 0's. You'll locate
a delightful lake called Stevens Pond near Lake Buel, and dry warm beds await you at Great Barrington MA Travelodge. Going for a hike on the Indian Trail is always a delightful adventure, and paddling on Konkapot Brook is so much
fun. Be careful coming to Lake Buel, you might not ever want to go back home again. Do take a look at Gleason Pond next to Lake Buel, it's a beautiful lake. On a great day at Lake Buel you can take a hike along the Wild Cat Trail,
and Lone Oak Camp Sites is a tremendous campground nearby. A large amount of rain falls at Lake Buel; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February.
