A swamp like Tyne Swamp close to Buckley Dunton Lake has lots of exciting things to see, and Buckley       Dunton Lake is a magnificent site to camp, Summit Hill Campground is a magnificent site. Yeah, come here to Buckley Dunton Lake for a good time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Farmington River - West Branch. The smiling people of Pittsfield like to hang out close by; not far from Buckley Dunton Lake you get some tremendous water scenery at Buckley Dunton Lake Dam. If the weather is nice here at Buckley Dunton Lake, you can go for a hike along the Cheshire                  Harbor Trail, and if you need a site to stay Lee Super 8 Motel is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Westfield River - West Branch; the skiing at Otis Ridge is good. Becket Mountain is trouble-free to spot from Buckley Dunton Lake, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Wild Cat Trail. Buckley Dunton Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
