Millers River
Rode it today.... lost 5 canoes on it as it rained last night and transformed into Class IV rapids.... Luckily we rescued 1 canoe and all 12 people got safely off of the river....

Pine Acres Family Camping Resort
12 miles away
Great place, everything you need for a fun time. We camped in tents, electricity and water at sights that were roomy enough for tent and screen house. Canoe rentals, rod rental and bait, beach and a pool, good hiking trails ( with wild bluberries and blackberries). Most important clean bathrooms nothing worse than a camp ground with crappy facilities (forgive the pun)..Ben a couple of times great place!!...

Wickaboag Pond

The pond is very nice?...

Wrights Reservoir
13 miles away
This Lake with little public access. Forget about using a motor boat. A canoe/kayak maybe. Fishing may be ok, but don't keep/eat what you catch. MA has serious mercury warnings posted....

Pout and Trout Family Campground
13 miles away
They have a swimming pool, game room, kid's playground. There are always people ready for a game of horseshoes. They have a pavillion for bingo games, DJ's and dancing. The rates are reasonable for seasonal and weekender sites, only minutes from Worcester....

Forest Lake
17 miles away
Firstly, Forest Lake does not offer any camping whatsoever, public or private. There is a Jewish retreat camp within 1/2 mile of Forest Lake, however that is not open to the public and is not on Forest Lake itself. Camp Ramah is on Pattaquattic Pond. In neighboring Monson, MA, there is a camp, but that is about 10 miles from the only access point offered to the public on Forest Lake, and is also not connected to Forest Lake in any way. Forest Lake in Palmer, MA, only has about 100 ft. of publicly accessible shore, probably about fifty of which is a swimmer's beach. Fishing is allowed. You can launch boats, but there is a 10 mph and 10 hp limit for motoring. Currently, the restaurant and bar across the street, ''Doyle's'', previously ''Lakeview Lounge'' is closed. Palmer is a lovely, quiet town off of the interstate with few accomodations for those looking to stay overnight, nevermind camp. Campers should look elsewhere and day-trip to Palmer if they want to try their luck at this small-town community beach....

Quinebaug Cove Campground
19 miles away
WE are located on the beautiful East Brimfield Reservoir where there is a five mile canoe trail. WE offer some of the best fishing, hiking and camping in the area. Need more reasons? Sturbridge Village, Six Flags, Worcester Art Museums. We offer something in the area for everyone. And don't forget the Brimfield Flea Market in May, July and September!! One of the biggest outdoor flea markets!! WE are considered to be in the foothills of the beautiful Berkshires where hiking/walking abound. The Berkshires house many craft shops, Jacob's Pillow and some great restaurants.

Those are just a few of our attractions. Centally located to the Worcester and Springfield areas and not all that far from Boston. See the Sox!

Our Campgound has an olympic size pool, small store and the friendliest staff! Our manager, Lou, is available to help your stay become more memorable. With a good knowledge of our area and attractions he can assist you in your camping experience.

Come for a visit and come again!
