A lake nearby is Brewer Pond, and Cohasset Tidal Rip has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Broad Cove has to offer, you can camp at Prospect Lake Park, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn ROCKLAND. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff       to do here at Broad Cove. Why not check out nearby Accord Brook if you're here at Broad Cove, and if you want to hit the beach, Crescent Beach is in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. After a long day outdoors Clarion Nantasket Beach Resort Hotel and Spa is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and Crow Point Flats is in the vicinity, and                  is a glorious spot. Summer at Broad Cove comes with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Broad Cove temperatures drop to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. You could also visit Bouve Pond since you're here at Broad Cove; it's nearby, and Blue Hills is a fine local ski area. Baker Hill is pretty and can be distinguished from Broad Cove; if you like swamps you're in luck, Bear Swamp is right close by. The slopes of Bradford are so inviting nobody can resist, and not far from Broad Cove you get some pleasant water scenery at Hingham Harbor. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Stay the night at Norwell Campsites, and nearby you hit upon Crow Point. Worlds End is an attention-grabbing place to take a look at while at Broad Cove, and a visit to Nantasket Beach is always a perfect idea.
