Just can't get enough of Briggs Pond. Briggs Pond is right by the Ross Trail, and why not take a little journey to Aldrich Brook since you're here. Pond a wet place; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Assabet River, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is
a great local destination. But wait, there's more to do near Briggs Pond. You'll locate a pretty lake called Crane Pond near Briggs Pond; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PROVIDENCE-WOONSOCKET is a splendid spot to get some rest.
For the period of the summer at Briggs Pond highs are regularly in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Briggs Pond
temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Walkabout Trail is glorious fun, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear and Branch.
