    Why not stop by Bowens Pond if you're passing through these parts. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bowens Pond a wet location; November is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Wagon wheel Camping Area, and folks from Springfield love to come here.
Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Living Memorial Park; the Sunrise Trail offers hiking at its best.
 
   Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Bowens Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Wagonwheel Campground is a great spot to camp, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Sunset Trail. At Bowens Pond you can spot Bear Mountain, and do check out Jacks Brook if you're here at Bowens Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. THE LORD JEFFERY INN is a good location to get some rest, and get dripping wet paddling on
 
               Ashuelot River. Throughout the days of summer at Bowens Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's, and the night is somewhat chillier of course, usually in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; night lows at Bowens Pond throughout the winter frequently drop into the 0's. If you need a place to stay University Lodge is a delightful choice; get yourself into a kayak and hit Millers River.
