Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Millers River - Lower; nearby you hit upon the Sunset Trail which is a good hiking trail. Bowens Pond is a quite wet place usually with a great deal of precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain while February is regularly the driest month.
