A perfect location to camp here at Bolivar Pond is Canoe River Campground; you'll meet a lot of folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy       here. All through the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Bolivar Pond. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Bolivar Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Bolivar Pond is a quite wet place generally with lots of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November while June is usually the driest month. Boston Harbor Islands National                  Recreation Area is a very wonderful spot to pop by close to Bolivar Pond, and you get a nice view of Hixon Hill from here.
