Be careful coming to Blue Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. Take a side tour to Bucks Creek, and on a beautiful day you can take a look at Oyster Pond Beach. Going for a hike along the Buttonbush Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. There's so much to do here at Blue Pond that you need       to camp here for a while, Camp Favorite is a fine site for that. You'll stumble on a charming lake called Black Pond near Blue Pond, and this is a popular place for people from Barnstable Town. This lake is so wonderful. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Red Maple Swamp Trail, and you can stay the night at Sweetwater Forest Camping Resort. Avalon Point is close to Blue Pond and is a magnificent site to pop by. If you want a pleasant time in                  the great outdoors, just come on down to Blue Pond. Time spent at Harding Beach near Blue Pond is always delightful, and needless to say, all our national parks are nice places to have a look at and Cape Cod National Seashore is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Blue Pond, you could also take a look at stunning Bear Pond; why not check out a swamp like Bucks Creek Marshes while you're here at Blue Pond. Blue Pond generally gets lots of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; July is when it's the driest. From Blue Pond you get a great panorama of Great Hill, and a pleasant close by hotel is Wequassett Inn Resort and Golf Club. Hiking along the Fort Hill Trail is brilliant fun, and Captain's Golf Course the is a pleasant golf course nearby. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Blue Pond. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's.
