Beaches are nice; and Brayton Point Beach right next door to Bleachery Ponds is no exception, and Hampton Inn is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Bleachery Ponds, you could also take a look at nearby Cook Pond. Head up to Blue Hills and strap some skis to your feet, and on a good day you can check out Pocasset Cedar Swamp, a swamp       close to Bleachery Ponds. One of the best things about Bleachery Ponds is its proximity to Pierce Beach; playing golf is lots of fun at Montaup Country Club. High temperatures at Bleachery Ponds through the summertime months are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. All through the winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Bleachery Ponds drop into the 10's.
