And that's not all you can do here at Blackwater Pond. The area where Blackwater Pond is, is dominated by the Dunes of the Provincelands, and if you need a site to stay Crowne Pointe Historic Inn is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Small Swamp Trail is always a great adventure,       and Blackwater Pond is not the only place nearby, Bennett Pond is a nearby lake. At Blackwater Pond you can catch a glimpse of Dunes of the Provincelands. Don't miss out on a trip to Cape Cod National Seashore if you're here at Blackwater Pond; a trip to Herring Cove Beach is always a good idea. Camping at Dunes' Edge Camp Ground is always a great experience; a lake nearby is Great Pond. Swamps are out of the ordinary places and Long Point Marshes near Blackwater                  Pond is no exception; there are good places to discover along the Great Island Trail. At Blackwater Pond all through the days of summer highs are in the 70's while night lows are typically in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Blackwater Pond dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Much rain falls at Blackwater Pond; November is the wettest month with most rain while July is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
