Go to Blackwater Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Blackwater Pond lays in the shadow of the Dunes of the Provincelands, and Cape Cod National Seashore is a splendid location close by. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Blackwater Pond has it all. There's so much to do here at Blackwater Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Dunes' Edge Camp Ground is a tremendous place for that; Four Gables Cottages and

| | Stes is a nice site to get some rest.
A good nearby hotel is Crowne Pointe Historic Inn, and Herring Cove Beach is a stunning beach to have a look at. You're probably into lakes, Bennett Pond is one of those close by, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Beach Forest Trail. Blackwater Pond generally gets a good deal of precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest.

Blackwater Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Coastal Acres Camping Court is a pleasant local campground, and Dunes of the Provincelands is scenic and can be seen from here. Why not go to a swamp like Long Point
Marshes while you're here at Blackwater Pond; on a great day you can take a hike along the Small Swamp Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A day at beautiful Race Point Beach near Blackwater Pond is a great thing to do, and the Great
Island Trail is a good hiking trail close by.
Summertime at Blackwater Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are frequently in the 60's. All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and night lows through the wintertime for Blackwater Pond tend to be in the 20's.
