on the delightful whitewater of Concord River, and visiting Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. During the days of summer at Blacks Nook temperatures are regularly in
the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's; nighttime lows at Blacks Nook during the wintertime generally descend into the 10's. The skiing at Blue Hills is brilliant; camping is available at Camp Cedar.
