Babcock Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting; while you're here you can take a hike along the County Road Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is magnificent here at Black Pond, you can go for a hike along the Richard Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Dutch Iris Inn, The. If you get bored of Black Pond, you       could also stop at nearby Hall Pond. For the duration of the summer months here at Black Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Black Pond tend to be in the 10's. Be careful coming to Black Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. After a long day outdoors Elm Motel is a splendid place to spend                  a night or two; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fall River. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Blandford, and a nice location to camp here at Black Pond is Laurel Ridge Camping Area. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is fine at Otis Ridge; camping at Twin Brook Farm And Camping Areas is always a great experience. Beech Hill is a peak you can spot from Black Pond, and Hubbard River is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby.
