Massachusetts has many beautiful lakes and Black Pond is one of them. All the water falling down from the sky makes Black Pond a wet place; all through August this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Black Pond. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The County Road Trail is a nice hiking trail in the vicinity of Black Pond, and the summit of Beech Hill can be made out from Black Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Elm Motel, and great skiing awaits you at Otis Ridge. Get covered with water paddling on Hubbard River, and if you need a place to stay Dutch Iris Inn, The is a magnificent choice.

the Link Trail is always a delightful adventure; Black Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Twin Brook Farm And Camping Areas is a good place to camp nearby. Visit Babcock Brook while you're here at Black Pond; you
can never get enough of the great skiing at Blandford. If you love the outdoors, you'll like Black Pond. There is a tremendous hiking trail in the neighborhood of Black Pond called the Richard Trail, and you can stay the night at Laurel Ridge Camping Area.
