If you are traveling by, why not stop by Black Pond. At Black Pond through the warm months highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Black Pond temperatures sink to the 10's. Black Pond is not the only place close by, Parsons Pond is a close by lake; Otis Ridge has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. Black

| | Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January. After a long day outdoors Dutch Iris Inn, The is a great spot to spend a night or two. So much exciting stuff to do at Black Pond, so little time. The County Road Trail offers hiking at its best, and some nearby water includes Babcock Brook. Take a hike on the Link Trail, and Hubbard River has a perfect whitewater | |

paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Beech Hill is a peak you can distinguish from Black Pond, and if you came to camp Twin Brook Farm And Camping Areas is a pleasant place to do that. There's no such thing as a
bad day of skiing at nearby Blandford, unsurprisingly you could also check out Hall Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. Whitewater paddling is nice on Fall River; Elm Motel is a wonderful place to get some rest. This
lake is so wonderful. Black Pond is right by the Richard Trail, and camping at Laurel Ridge Camping Area is always a great experience.
