For the duration of the months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Black Pond; the night is a little chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Black Pond temperatures fall to the 20's. There's just no way anyone can get bored here       at Black Pond. What would a place like Black Pond be without exciting nearby features like Zacks Cliffs; Black Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Coolfont Resort is a magnificent local campground. While you're here at Black Pond, you could also visit picturesque Lily Pond; if you came to camp Martha's Vineyard Family Campground is a fine site to do that. If you need a place to stay Thorncroft Inn is a delightful choice, and don't forget                  to go to Long Point since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Squibnocket Marshes are fun to pop by; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Long Beach. You'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Squibnocket Pond near Black Pond, and a great nearby hotel is High Haven House Bed And Breakfast Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Black Brook is a stream that you may come across while here, and if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Lobsterville Beach.
