If you need a site to stay Scenic View Motel is a tremendous choice, and why not camp at Sandy Pond Campground since you're here at Black Pond. Black Pond frequently gets a large amount of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Barnstable Town here at Black Pond; Elbow Pond is a nearby lake that       you could take a look at. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Black Pond has it all. Camping is available at Bay View Campgrounds, and it's a brilliant idea to pop by Herring River. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Black Pond, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Black Pond temperatures descend to the 10's. If you want                  to play some golf, you're in luck because Atlantic Country Club is close by, and why not explore a swamp like Long Swamp if you're here at Black Pond. A tour to Cape Cod National Seashore is worthwhile, and time spent at Scusset Beach is always great. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Black Pond you can catch a glimpse of Discovery Hill.
