Tisbury Great Pond is a wonderful lake near Black Point Pond; needless to say Mill Brook is a striking stream that is worth stopping at. Lakes? Sure, Quenames Cove is close by, and a great nearby hotel is Thorncroft Inn. That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Black Point Pond has it all. Why not       stop at Allen Point also while you're here, and a brilliant beach nearby is North Shore Beach. Black Point Pond regularly gets a large amount of precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well go to Willow Tree Bottom; if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Lucy Vincent Beach. At Black Point Pond all through the months of summer highs                  are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Black Point Pond.
