In Massachusetts there are many beautiful lakes, Bitt Shop Pond is one of them. Winding Brook Camping Area is a wonderful campground here, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quinebaug River. An afternoon playing golf at Edgewood Golf Course is always a bliss. Lakes are magnificent; Dudley Pond is a lake that's next to Bitt Shop Pond.

Don't miss out on a spree to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor since you're here at Bitt Shop Pond, and Clear and Branch is a great whitewater spot nearby. Caswell Brook is a nice local stream, and the sight of Bald Hill is pretty. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to come across some nice people from Worcester here; the Walkabout Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby.

amusing stuff in one place! Bitt Shop Pond is excellent! Econo Lodge Sutton is a good site to get some rest, and if you want to hit the beach, Spring Lake Beach is close at hand. The scenery at Old Mill Pond Dam in the neighborhood
of Bitt Shop Pond is delightful; on a nice day you can take a hike along the Munyan Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Bitt Shop Pond. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During
the winter highs are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Bitt Shop Pond temperatures fall to the 10's.
After a long day outdoors Belfont Hotel is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and since you're
here you can take a hike along the Ross Trail. Bitt Shop Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Bitt
Shop Pond is a fine location to camp, Holbrook's Camping Grounds is a fine location, and you have to absolutely go to pretty YWCA Beach while you're here.
