All through the long summer days highs here at Big West Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Big West Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Cohasset Tidal Rip. Camping at Ellis Haven Family Campground is always a fine experience, and Comfort Inn Plymouth       is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Do schedule some time to explore Hathaway Point close to Big West Pond if you have a chance, and while here here do take a look at close by Nelson Beach. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Big West Pond. While you're here at Big West Pond you can play some golf at Squirrel Run Country Club; time spent at Stephens Field Beach is always great. A tremendous site like Kngs Pond Plain here at Big West                  Pond is too pleasant to miss, and Briggs Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to. The summit of Sparrow Hill can be distinguished from Big West Pond; great water scenery is available at Eight Acre Reservoir Dam near Big West Pond. Big West Pond is a wet place that gets a good deal of precipitation; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here; June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
